Charming Chevron

Rare 1930's Art Deco Shelley Chevron pattern tea service sold for £1,200 in the
22nd July Auction

Although the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted on every industry, including the Fine Art and Chattels sector, auction houses continue to remain positive, with potential buyers turning to remote bidding in order to secure a sale safely and securely.

We have seen a dramatic rise in bidder registrations since our re-opening back in June as well as a huge growth in instructions received from both existing and new sellers bringing a vote of confidence for auctions, which allows people to complete their transactions while maintaining necessary social distancing.

In recent Auctions we have been able to increase the number of clients who can physically attend the auction on Sale Day and we encourage bidders to call ahead to book a coveted seat in the saleroom. 0191 537 2630.

Boldon Auction Galleries offer remote buying through the-saleroom.com platform broadcasting live, or by phone or commission bid.  Where ever you are or however you bid rest assured we are working hard for you.
