A rare Minton majolica tortoise teapot, the tortoise's head protruding from its brown shell to form the spout, its tail extending over the shell to form a handle, the cover with a shell knop resting on seaweed, with pink interior, impressed marks and date mark for Minton 1878.  11.9cm high
