| For Auction 22nd September Ladderax is a fabulous example of mid-century modern design. The modular shelving and storage system was created by Robert Heal in 1964 for Staples of Cricklewood in London. Heal was heavily influenced by Danish pieces reinterpreting simple linear shapes. Consisting of upright ladders, shelves and cabinets which rest on steel support rods and hook on to the rungs of the ladders (hence the name), Ladderax is self supporting and can be configured in many ways. |
