A set of four Robert Heritage for Archie Shine rosewood and black vinyl chairs, with chrome base
Robert Heritage designed furniture for a number of British makers from the 1950s to the 1970s. He is best known for his work for the London maker Archie Shine. Archie Shine furniture was retailed by Heals and a few independent provincial retailers. Interestingly Robert Heritage was also a Professor of Furniture at the Royal College of Art from 1974-1985.
