An update on the 7 East Boldon Scout Group Explorers adventure of a lifetime.

 

After arriving in Hartlepool safely on Thursday after an eventful voyage, sailing through the worst sea storm ever recorded for this time of year, all of them were struck with sea sickness for the first 2 days!

 

Despite this they showed real resilience in carrying on and once they arrived at the Tall Ships Festival site they embraced the celebrations.  

 

This culminated in a Crew Parade on Friday followed by prize giving. Ocean Scout won a prize for youngest crew and James Cook won a prize for best radio communication throughout the race. 

 

 

They were proud to wear their sponsorship T-shirts on departure and for the parade and Crew Party on Friday night.  Boldon Auction Galleries were thrilled to be able to be a part of their adventure.
