Lot 21. A nine-leaf floor lamp by Tommaso Barbi, Italy, circa 1970, with attachments for 9 lights, the brass structure supporting pressed brass leaves.  147cm H, 112cm D, 127cm D Tommaso Barbi was an Italian designer who blurred the line between function and artistry from the 1960s to the 1980s. He became known for his striking creations that elevated everyday objects into bold, sculptural statements.  Nature was a recurring theme in his work, and he often took inspiration from organic forms, particularly plants and flowers.
